The following are the procedures we will follow upon reopening our office as of May 2020:
- All employees will sign off daily upon entering the office building that they are free of any symptoms listed below:
- Presence of cough
- Shortness of breath
- Fever
- Chills
- Muscle Pain
- Headache
- Sore Throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Traveled in the last 30 days
- Been exposed to anyone with Covid-19
- Tested positive for Covid-19
- All staff will wear appropriate PPE as per CDC guidelines (masks)
- All patients must be free of any signs/symptoms listed below:
- Presence of cough
- Shortness of breath
- Fever
- Chills
- Muscle Pain
- Headache
- Sore Throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Traveled in the last 30 days
- Been exposed to anyone with Covid-19
- Tested positive for Covid-19
- If any of these apply, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for the safety of our staff and patients.
- It will be mandatory to sign a Covid-19 Informed Consent that will be given to you at the office prior to any procedures.
- Each patient will be instructed to call the front desk when they arrive to the office. They will remain in their vehicle until our CMA comes to greet them.
- We ask all patients please wear a face mask to your appointment while in common areas. One will be provided to you if you do not have one.
- CMA will wear appropriate PPE (mask and gloves) to patient’s vehicle to:
- Take their temperature
- Temperature should not be greater than 100.4 degrees
- Review and consent to list of exclusion symptoms with patient (see step 3)
- Electronically check in patient and sign consents for services (including Covid-10 Consent)
- Offer gloves and mask to patient to wear in our building. Will also offer hand sanitizer and/or soap and water to cleanse hands upon entering our building.
- Escort patient into waiting room if 3 or less patients are in waiting room. If 3 patients are already in waiting room, patient will be instructed to remain in vehicle until told otherwise.
- Wipe down thermometer and iPad with disinfectant wipes
- Take their temperature
- Patients in the waiting room will be seated in our plastic chairs that will be set 6 feet apart from each other. Each chair will be cleansed according to CDC guidelines after patients are moved to the treatment room.
- Beverages will not be available, but you may bring your own from home.
- Treatment rooms will be disinfected prior to each new patient’s arrival per CDC guidelines.
- If there is more than 1 patient waiting to check out, they will be advised to stand behind the blue tape marked on the floor that is 6 feet away from the other. The front desk and exit door will be sanitized after each patient exits prior to checking out the next patient in line.
- We will offer hand sanitizer to patients upon exiting the building.
- Patients will only be admitted to the building by themselves. No spouses, friends, or children will be permitted to enter without an appointment scheduled.
- If you are interested in purchasing skin care products at your appointment, our staff will be able to assist you.
- If you do not have an appointment but would like to purchase products, please call our office for curbside pick up to be arranged. This is to ensure we can continue to follow social distancing to the best of our ability.
