Ingredients
Corn Starch, Kaolin, Sodium Alginate, Gold Powder, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Solum Diatomene, Ascorbic Acid, Glutathione, Tocopheryl.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) — A well known antioxidant that is popular in anti-aging products. Its synergistic effect with vitamin E is excellent. As vitamin E reacts with a free radical, it is damaged. Vitamin C repairs the free-radical damage in vitamin E allowing it to continue scavenging free radicals.
Corn Starch — Used as a thickener. Absorbs water and is soothing to the skin.
Glutathione Peptide— Helps enhance skin metabolism and its use of oxygen. Helps protect fibroblasts from oxidation by free radicals.
Gold Powder — Has a good catalytic function and can effectively get rid of free radicals that cause aging in the human body
Hydrolyzed Collagen — Modified collagen. Has the ability to bind and retain many times its weight in water.
Kaolin China Clay — used in powders and masks. Has absorbent, abrasive, bulking, and opacifying properties. Has good coverage and absorbs both water and oil making it a good absorber for both oil and sweat secreted by the skin. Easily removed.
Sodium Alginate — Thickener, stabilizer, gelling agent.
Solum Diatomene — Diatomaceous earth. A porous and relatively pure form of silica formed from fossil remains of diatoms (one-celled algae with shells). Used as a clarifying agent. Can absorb about four times its weight in water.
Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) — An important oil-soluble antioxidant and free-radical scavenger when applied topically. It is also has photoprotectant capabilities and helps protect the cellular membrane from free-radical damage. It also serves a preservative function due to its ability to protect against oxidation.
