Karen Kalevas, RN, BBA, MMS, PA-C
Physician Assistant – Certified
A North Carolina native, born and raised in a military family in Fayetteville, NC, she and her family relocated to the Raleigh area in December 2017. Karen received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Fayetteville Technical Community College, her Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University, and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University. She has worked as a nurse in the medical, surgical, cardiac, and cardiac surgery ICUs, on the cardiac surgery open heart team, as well as in the Emergency Department at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she served as transplant coordinator and as a member of the trauma team. Karen also brings to our practice an extensive background and experience in real estate, business management, and sales. She has managed family owned businesses, has worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Schering-Plough and Merck Pharmaceuticals, earning the prestigious “Rookie of the Year” sales award, and as a licensed securities broker with Smith Barney Investments.
Since graduation from PA school in 2010, she has worked in the areas of family medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Interventional Pain Management both in office and in the hospital setting. She maintains hospital privileges at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. As a results-driven professional with a passion for her patients, and with strong emphasis on exceptional patient care and optimal treatment outcomes through appropriate assessment of overall patient health, she is excited to join Eileen and the team of professionals at Aesthetics By Eileen.
A former model in NYC, she is the mother of three adult children, and a member of Hope Community Church in Raleigh, NC. She enjoys traveling, international cuisine, the arts, water and snow sports, learning new languages, and playing her piano.
Danielle Almond, MS, FNP -BC
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Danielle Almond earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Clemson University in 2010. She then moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at Georgetown University Hospital. During her five years at Georgetown, Danielle was not only a staff nurse, but served as charge nurse, new nurse educator, and the lead stroke coordinator. Danielle was accepted into and earned her Master of Science degree with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in 2015 from Georgetown University. Soon after, she relocated back to Raleigh to be closer to her family.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Danielle has focused on chronic health condition management and prevention through guiding her patients in lifestyle changes. She has built a strong foundation as an FNP by working in a busy family practice and treating patients of all ages with an extreme range of health conditions. Most recently, Danielle worked in a practice focused on aiding patients in making lifestyle changes with goals of achieving weight loss, reducing stress and overall health improvement. Danielle is thrilled to take her strong base as a healthcare provider to focus on her true passion of aesthetics and skin care.
Outside of work, Danielle has served on a health relief team in Ecuador and most recently volunteered at a clinic in Durham to assist patients without health insurance.
In her free time, Danielle loves to spend time with her fiancé and family in Raleigh, Wilmington, and Asheville. She also enjoys travel and good wine at wineries with her friends. Lastly, Danielle follows a heathy lifestyle by exercising through running, pilates and spin classes.
Beth Russell, RN, BSN
Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. Her past work experience includes ICU nursing at The North Carolina Memorial Hospital – Jaycee Burn Center, Cardiovascular Recovery Unit at Charlotte Memorial Hospital, The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center, and Plastic Surgery Nursing in private practices in New York, NY, Greensboro, and Raleigh, NC.
Beth has over 30 years of Plastic Surgery Nursing experience, making her one of the pioneers in the field of Aesthetic Nurse Injectors. For over 30 years, she has been injecting soft tissue fillers, as well as performing Botox and Dysport injections since these products became available for cosmetic purposes. Beth works with Specialists in Plastic Surgery P.A., The Museum Spa and Laser Center, PLLC, and The Laser and Skin Care Medical Spa, PLLC. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Nurses, and published an article, “The Role of the Plastic Surgery Nurse Collagen Specialist” in the Plastic Surgical Nursing Journal in 1990. Beth is also a national trainer for Allergen, instructing physicians and non-physician providers the proper injection techniques for Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, and Volbella.
Beth has served on two medical relief teams to Kenya and Zambia, Africa. She is married to Plastic Surgeon Dr. Roger Russell. They have four children who live in New York, NY; Raleigh and Charlotte, NC. Beth is a three-time New York Marathon runner, 2013 Ladies Golf Champion at the Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, a member of the Saint Mary’s Athletic Hall of Fame, a member of the Raleigh Fine Arts Society and enjoys travel, decorating, gardening, and cooking. She devotes much of her time and volunteer work to Hayes Barton United Methodist Church.
Caitlyn A. Monsees
Caitlyn recently joined Aesthetics by Eileen in November of 2015. Caitlyn comes to us with a passion for skin care with an emphasis on result oriented treatments. She received her license from The Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics in 2009.
With over 6 years experience as a medical esthetician, Caitlyn has expert skills in the areas of laser hair removal, IPL treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasions and medical-grade facial techniques. She continues her education and training in order to provide the latest treatments to her patients.
When not working, Caitlyn enjoys international travel with her husband, spending time outdoors with her French Bulldog, and exploring her new home of Raleigh.
Patient Care Coordinator
Melissa has been working with Aesthetics by Eileen since 2014. Our clients appreciate her personal touches, positive attitude, bright smile and her aesthetic knowledge. She had been working in customer service in the medical and dental field for over 8 years prior to joining Aesthetics By Eileen. Melissa is a native to North Carolina and the Raleigh area. She is married with two loving & playful dogs. Melissa’s passion’s are of a healthy lifestyle, practicing Yoga, running, exploring new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
Wendy has been part of our aesthetics team since 2011, and has long been a student of beauty. Prior to joining our team, she had a challenging career in marketing, management, and sales. In 2002, she joined the health care industry, working in Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Catalina is a results driven professional with extensive experience in customer service. She is an excellent communicator, in English and Spanish. Catalina puts an emphasis on building and strengthening our customer relations, always keeping our customers in first place.

Patient Care Coordinator
Lori joined our team the summer of 2017. Lori is likely the first person to welcome you when you arrive. She loves meeting and greeting patients to make them feel special and valuable. One of her favorite things about her job is sharing the patients happiness and smiles when they see their results. “To see patients leave feeling so good about how they look and feel is amazing…and they can’t wait to come back! This is such a wonderful place to work, surrounded by the most caring, professional women and I’m so proud to be a part of this team.” Lori also helps out with the special events. She has two grown daughters that are the loves of her life.
Patient Care Coordinator
Susan began her career over 20 years ago in a dermatology practice and after 8 years, moved into the plastic surgery field where she remained for 14 years and worked with Dr. William Lambeth. The most rewarding thing for her has been the friendships and bonds that were created by getting to know patients on a personal level. She loves meeting people and getting to know them as well as their families. “I love being able to say, “How is your mom feeling” or “Did you have a great time on your vacation?” Making people feel special and giving them a warm greeting each time they come in is what I strive for! She feels very fortunate to be able to see the same people after 20 years and continue that bond.
Susan has a daughter that is married and lives in Raleigh. She and her husband live in Wake Forest with their small dog. They love traveling to the mountains and beaches, as well as spending time with family and friends.
